Indoor and Outdoor Metal Sculpture. After decades of experience fabricating metal structures I have devised my own unique methods to manipulate sheets of steel. The work is direct
metal sculputre. I have developed a new approach to creating 3-dimensional space. I call it "expanding
planes sculpture". Working from a silhouette,
I then create silhouettes within the first
silhouette and expand the planes to create
a figure in the round. The negative spaces
contribute equally with the positve
spaces to build the whole image and
give it an animated feel. Some
sculptures take months
to accomplish.
